La Morte Vivante (1982)

This movie (The Living Dead Girl) is a French horror movie with some English. It was a fun movie to watch because I could understand some of it without looking at the subtitles. The gore was good too. 

Shocker (1989)

This was a funny movie. There was some pretty cool gory scenes. The story was a little ridiculous, but it worked. 

Diary of a Madman (1963)

As always, Vincent Price was great. It was amazing to see him play a good and evil guy at the same time. The ending was sad, but expected. I will watch this again some day. 

The Gorgon (1964)

This movie was fun. Peter Cushing was a great villain and the story was good.

The Devil's Bride (1968)

This was a great movie. It was cool to see Christopher Lee play a good guy. The story was told well and the acting was great. I would definitely watch this again.

Dracula, Prince of Darkness (1966)

This was ok, very similar to the other Hammer Dracula movies. Nothing really made it stand out.

13 Ghosts (1960)

Clip above is the full movie. This was a great William Castle production. It would have been so much fun to have been able to see this when it came out in theaters. It was cheezey, but I liked it a lot. 

Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell (1974)

This was a great Hammer movie, but mostly because Peter Cushing was Dr. Frankenstein. 

Brain Dead (1990)

This movie would have been a great mind bender for my film class last quarter. It was funny and it kept me guessing as to what the real reality was. The horror/gore elements were so few and far between that they really stood out and added to the film. The ending with all the brains on the shelf was perfect.  

The Cabin in the Woods (2012)

I liked this movie a lot. It was really fun trying to figure out what was really going on. About half way through I thought it was going to be the horror fan as the "customer" that they had to keep happy. The ending was a little cheesy with the whole "ancients" thing, but I liked the ending sequences with the monsters all breaking loose and the cameo by Sigourney Weaver. 

Jacob's Ladder (1990)

This was a great film. There were many scenes that are really creepy. There was even a moment were I got startled and that doesn't happen very often. A very disturbing movie that was great. 

Videodrome (1983)

The special effects were great and very creepy. James Woods was awesome. Surprisingly Debbie Harry was good too. The ending was a little too ambiguous for my taste, but overall I liked the story. 

The Human Centipede (First Sequence) (2010)

Very disturbing. Dr. Heiter is possibly the scariest villain in any horror movie that I have seen. The whole movie was suspenseful and left me a little queasy, which is a great sign since it rarely happens. 

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007)

Great movie, and great acting. Three of my favorite actors: Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, and Alan Rickman are in this movie. I loved the visuals of the film. I really loved the how the blood looked fake and paint-like. I felt like Tim Burton made it look that way as a nod to old Hammer Horror films. I really liked the   make up also. 

The Devil's Rejects (2005)

LOVE this movie. Even after seeing it at least 10 times it is still awesome. I love the music and the cut away scenes. I also love the interactions between the members of the Firefly family. Even though they are evil, they love each other and stick together.

The Walking Dead (1936)

Thankfully this movie was short because it was boring. Karloff was good, but that was the only good thing about this film.

Whatever Happened To Baby Jane? (1962)

This movie was really creepy. The acting was great and the story was very believable. The ambiguous ending was neat, yet a little frustrating.  

Tenebre (1982)

This was a pretty good film. The death scenes were cool and the story was actually good. There weren't many dull moments. I would definitely watch this again. I am quickly a becoming a big fan of Italian Giallo films.

George A. Romero presents Deadtime Stories: Volume 1 (2010)

These shorts were a little humorous, but that was it. The special effects were terrible and the stories were even worse. Each had potential that did not pan out. I will probably never watch this again. 

Ed Wood (1994)

This is yet another movie that proves that Johnny Depp can play any character and do a good job doing it! This was funny and sad at the same time. I really appreciated the references to horror and sci-fi films.
